These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of FactDropDaily ("the App", "the Service", "we", "us", "our"), operated by the owner of betloog.uk. By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
FactDropDaily is an automated content creation tool that generates short-form "Did You Know" style videos and publishes them to TikTok on behalf of the account owner who has authenticated the Service. The Service is operated for the personal use of the account owner and is not offered as a commercial product to third parties.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use this Service. You must also comply with TikTok's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines when using any content produced by this Service.
The Service uses OAuth 2.0 to connect to your TikTok account via the TikTok Login Kit and the TikTok Content Posting API. You are responsible for keeping your access tokens and credentials secure. You may revoke the Service's access to your TikTok account at any time through your TikTok account settings.
You agree not to use the Service to:
You retain full ownership of any content published to your TikTok account through the Service. You are solely responsible for ensuring that content generated and published complies with applicable law, intellectual property rights, and TikTok's policies. Factual content generated by the Service is sourced from publicly available APIs (for example, Wikipedia, Numbers API, Useless Facts, Open Trivia) and is provided on an "as is" basis with no guarantee of accuracy.
The Service integrates with third-party providers, including but not limited to: TikTok (publishing), Anthropic (script generation), ElevenLabs (text-to-speech), and public fact APIs. Your use of these providers through the Service is also governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim (which, for a free Service, is zero).
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. You may stop using the Service and revoke access at any time.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The most recent version will always be available at https://legal.betloog.uk/terms.html. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
