This Privacy Policy explains how FactDropDaily ("the App", "the Service", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Service hosted at betloog.uk. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

FactDropDaily is operated for the personal use of the account owner and does not onboard third-party end users. The following information is handled by the Service:

• TikTok OAuth tokens: Access and refresh tokens issued by TikTok's Login Kit, used to publish videos to the connected TikTok account via the TikTok Content Posting API.
• TikTok account identifiers: The open_id and display name returned by TikTok after authentication, used for logging and debugging.
• Generated content: Audio, video files, and script text produced by the pipeline. These are stored locally on the account owner's device only.
• API request logs: Timestamps and status of publish requests, stored locally for debugging and rate-limit tracking.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, sell, or share personal information from TikTok viewers, followers, commenters, or any third parties. We do not use cookies or tracking technologies on this website. We do not collect analytics, behavioural data, or demographic information.

3. How We Use Information

Information collected is used solely to:

• Authenticate with TikTok and publish videos to the connected account;
• Generate script audio via ElevenLabs and script text via the Anthropic API;
• Fetch public facts from third-party APIs (Wikipedia, Numbers API, Useless Facts, Open Trivia);
• Log the result of each publish request for debugging.

4. Data Storage & Security

All OAuth tokens and generated files are stored locally on the account owner's personal device. Tokens are stored in a local configuration file with filesystem permissions that restrict access to the account owner. No user data is stored on external servers operated by us.

5. Third-Party Services

The Service sends data to the following third-party providers strictly to deliver its functionality:

• TikTok — for OAuth authentication and video publishing. See TikTok's Privacy Policy.
• Anthropic — for script generation via the Claude API. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
• ElevenLabs — for text-to-speech synthesis. See ElevenLabs' Privacy Policy.
• Public fact APIs — Wikipedia, Numbers API, Useless Facts, Open Trivia. No personal data is sent to these APIs.

6. Data Retention

OAuth tokens are retained until the account owner revokes access via their TikTok settings or deletes the local config file. Generated video files are retained locally until manually deleted by the account owner.

7. Your Rights

Under applicable data protection law (including UK GDPR), you have the right to:

• Request a copy of any data held about you;
• Request correction or deletion of your data;
• Withdraw consent and revoke TikTok access at any time.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at or intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
